Bagillt Heritage Society

Bagillt Station opened in January 1849. The railway brought a new era of prosperity by offering a much improved mode of transport to Bagillts great industries, with much greater mobility for the local people. It was a sad day indeed when on Valentines Day 1965, the last passengers alighted at the station.
